Persistent electricity shortage across Nigeria has continued to generate concern among citizens, as many households and businesses struggle to cope with irregular power supply.
The situation has forced millions of Nigerians to depend heavily on generators for survival and economic activities, amid rising fuel costs and harsh economic realities.
A resident, Isaac Afolabi who spoke on the development lamented that the country’s unstable power supply has become a way of life, with even children now accustomed to living without steady electricity.
He called on the government to urgently address the nation’s power crisis, describing it as one of the major challenges facing the country aside from insecurity.
Observers say improving electricity supply will not only ease the burden on citizens and businesses, but also boost economic growth, enhance productivity and improve the overall standard of living across the country.
