Lagos state government has disclosed that it is set to commence testing of Public schools to forestall building collapse in the state.
The state government revealed this on its twitter handle, earlier today.
"The Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory (LSMTL), is set to commence a Non-Destructive Integrity Test (NDT) on selected Public Schools in the State, as part of government efforts to forestall building collapse in Lagos"
The state govenor, Babajide Sanwoolu, said this is to prevent any possibility of building collapse and ensure the safety of pupils, students and staff of Public Schools across the metropolis
The General Manager of the Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory, Dr. Abiodun Afolabi disclosed that the flag-off ceremony is scheduled to hold on Monday, 22nd of June, 2020, at Omole Senior Secondary School, Omole, Lagos State.
It was gathered that, he later announced his resignation from the APC and joined the PDP on Friday.
