The Election Tribunal sitting in Akure, the Ondo State Capital has again adjourned the Proceedings of a suit filed by the Candidate of The PDP, Eyitayo Jegede Against the Victory of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of the APC in the October 10,2020 Governorship Election in the State .
The Judge, Justice Umar Abubakar adjourned the Case till 20th January, 2021, after the Counsel to INEC, Charles Edosanwan opens and Closes his Hearing with a Witness, Tope Aina , who is the Director of Operations INEC, to establish is fact at the Court.
Speaking after the Court Sitting, Counsel to APC, Lateef Fagbemi expresses readiness to responded to the Suit filed against it Client.
Also the Counsel to the 3rd and 4th Respondents, Akin Olujimi, Said they are satisfied with the Proceedings so far.
However, Justice Abubakar in his ruling Adjourned the Case till 20th January, 2021 for further Hearing.
