Nigeria Union of Teachers, Lagos state chapter, have urged President Muhammadu Buhari, the winner of the 2019 presidential elections, to form a government of national unity.
Chairman of the union, Adesina Adedoyin, said in an interview with newsmen in Lagos that a government of national unity would ensure everybody contributed to national development.
He said no one has monopoly of knowledge, adding that if the opposing side had good programmes and ideas it should be looked at and considered so everyone could contribute to the nation’s development.
Adedoyin urged Buhari not to forget to fulfill his promises to Nigerians and workers in general and to move into action immediately.
