The threat from the government will not stop until journalists abstain manipulations and do things professionally.
Mr Adeolu Gboyega, Crest 106.1 FM’s Head of Operations stated this at the 2020/2021 Press Week of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo RUGIPO’s Press Council.
Mr Gboyega who was awarded the best exemplary leader in media space in Ondo State added that before journalists can effect a change in the society they must understand that they have the ability and power to be a change maker, societal change and the power to influence the masses decision making process.
According to him, the Press have the right to inquire for information under the ‘Freedom of information act’.
