The Olokoja of Ikoja in Ikare-Akoko, Ondo state, Idowu Ogunye has been relieved of his appointment.
This was contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen by, Olukare of Ikare-Akoko, Akadiri Saliu.
According to the statement, Ogunye was relieved after failing to adhere to the directive of Olukoja which mandates all chiefs installed by him to attend Ikare town meetings.
Olukare of Ikare-Akoko however ordered the family of Ogunye to submit the name of another person to replace the relieved chief within two weeks.
