Akure market abuse: Nigerians urge authorities to protect women against violence



A recent abuse on a lady at Olukayode complex, in Oja-oba Akure, the Ondo state capital have generated a lot of conteoveraies with individuals calling on authorities to take proper action against the perpetrator.

According to reports, the unidentified lady was tapped from behind (bottom) and she reacted, rebuking the man who tapped her against her opinion, immediately the man alledgedly inflicted some injures on her.

Although the man was arrested, reports have it that he had been released on bail, without legal actions against him.

Sharing their opinions on twitter, Nigerians lambasted those police officers who had alledgedly released the man who carried out the evil act on the accused.

Some however said the the justice system in the nation sees the incident has a normal occurance.

This happened yesterday morning beside Olukayode, one of the clothes vendors tapped her butt all in the name of advertising his wears.

She rebuked him and this happened, he was arrested yesterday but the cops released him already without taking proper actions.
