The South-West leadership of the ruling APC and Governors have pledged to rally support for the victory of Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN at the State Guber Election.
The South-West governors who made this known at an APC Caucus Meeting held at Oke Fia Government House, Osogbo and chaired by Governor Gboyega Oyetola.
This is the first time the APC South-West caucus meeting holds since the appointment of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola as the Southwest representative on the Caretaker/Extra-ordinary National Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Briefing newsmen on the outcome of the meeting, Governor Oyetola disclosed that the meeting focused, among other things, on the urgent need to rally support for the reelection of Governor Akeredolu who emerged as the party’s candidate ahead of the Ondo governorship election.
