Ogun state governor, Dayo Abiodun has earlier today paid a condolence visit to late immediate past governor of Oyo state, Ajimobi's wife.
"Earlier today, I paid a condolence visit to the family of @AAAjimobi, elder statesman and immediate past Governor of Oyo State."
According to him, Ajimobi was taken at an agreed age.
"The Almighty had called him home penultimate Thursday (25th June, 2020), aged 70"
"Despite the painful loss, we must take solace in the many lives he touched positively, exemplary character he had and his many contributions to national development, both as a successful private sector player and later political leader."
"I prayed to the Almighty to grant Senator Ajimobi eternal rest and to give his widow and family the fortitude to bear this loss."
