The National Executive Committee of the Governing All Progressives Congress has approved the dissolution of the party’s National Working Committee.
This followed the recommendations by President Muhammadu Buhari to the Emergency Virtual meeting of the committee.
This was confirmed on the twitter account of Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Digital and New Media, Tolu Ogunlesi.
Consequently, Governor of Yobe State, Mai Mala Buni has been appointed as the chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC)’s caretaker committee and extraordinary national convention.
Information says, the named Caretaker Committee will also serve as Convention Planning Committee. Governor of Yobe, Mai Mala Buni, is Chairman of the Committees. Other members include Governors of Niger & Osun
