Oyo state records fresh 28 coronavirus cases


Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde has confirmed 27 fresh coronavirus cases in the state.

 

Makinde who confirmated teh report on his verified twitter handle, said the state is doing everything in its power to contain the spread of the virus

 

Information says, out of the figure, 27 are from iSon Xperience, the telecoms call centre shut down around Dugbe axis of the state while the last case is from Akinyele local government area of the State.

 

The new additions bring to 105 the number of staff that have tested positive to the novel coronavirus in Oyo while the total confirmed cases in the state stand at 190.

 

The state governor however appealed to the people of the state to adhere to all the safety rules because most of the cases reported in the state are asymptomatic, noting that the treatment protocol adopted by the state will ensure speedy recovery of the patients.
