Health and Wellness experts have urged women to embrace the uniqueness of their womanhood through self-awareness, ethics and passion to achieve success.
They gave the advice at the 2019 International Women’s Day Seminar with the theme: “Balanced for Better,’’ held in Lagos.
according to reports, the seminar was organised by Thrive Women Solutions.
A Consultant Physician and Wellness Enthusiast, Obielumani Ideh, urged women to change their mindsets by embracing the uniqueness of their womanhood to achieve balance and happiness.
Ideh said balance and wholeness begins from the brain, being the power house of everything affecting the woman’s health.
She advised women to constantly be observant about the changes in their bodies with each monthly cycle and go for regular checkups to enjoy wholesomeness.
Also, the Convener, Thrive Women Solutions, Mrs Rosemary Onyebigwa, advised women to ensure that children of both sexes were not raised differently to achieve the goal of gender equality.
Commenting,Technical Adviser, Youth and Gender in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ms Cynthia Umoru, challenged women to be bold and expend efforts in following their passions to record outstanding success.
