Sowore Faults Government, Security Officers Over Insecurity

Former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore has faulted the government and security operatives for the ravaging security challenges bedeviling the country.

He claimed that while the police force is not effective in the discharge of its duties, the army is overstretched.

The police force is rotten, and the army leaders and those in charge of its logistics are growing fat on the funds released for the force. He added.

Sowore said the president, as the commander in chief of the armed forces, should be proactive in the fight against insecurity, ensuring that all funds are judiciously used.
