Rep calls out presidency over Foreign Reserves Accounts

The House of Representatives HAS demanded an explanation from the Presidency through its Committee on Public Accounts ON the status of Nigeria’s Foreign Reserves Accounts.

THIS followed the confession of the Accountant-General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris, that he has no idea about the operation of the Foreign Reserves Accounts by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

Idris said this during the investigative hearing into the audit queries issued by the Office of the Auditor-General of the Federation on the 2014 financial statement of the Accountant-General of the Federation.
