The Arabinrin Grassroot Movement Coordinator Engr. Patrick Madubuko led their executives to pay courtesy visit to Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu at the Rotounda Hall government house Alagbaka and pledged their loyalties and support to Governor Akeredolu's re-election.
Being members of the AGM it has enlightened them the more about the good work of the governor across the state.
In their key note address they thanked the first lady for her good caring initiatives ranging from BRECAN, BEMORE,WIDOWS CARE, Women Empowerment which are impacting on human lives in the state. Using the avenue to bring to her attention the plights of retired teachers who are living on meagre pensions and call for program to aid them at this their old age.
They presented gift to the first lady as a sign of empathy on the death of her mother few months ago.
Mrs Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu appreciated the group for identifying with the Arabinrin Grassroot Movement vision and mission. She said that AGM is one of her vision to alleviate the marginalised,aggrieved citizens seen the happenings in our political and social spheres.
The group is well structured, promotes accountability, equality where we can share the joy and difficulty moods by everyone.
It was birthed at Ore, Odigbo LG and today membership is across the 18 local government of the state to which she appreciates Akure North and South for being part of the visionary group.
Our women are part of the nation builder. Let us go out there to evangelise that Aketi Continuity is a good divine so that Mr Talk and Do can do more to leverage through Arabinrin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu for Women Upliftment in our system.
She emphasized the need for ward meetings where politicians will always get updated information where leaders, appointees can act on behalf of the government.
Clearly this is the weapon of any Grassrooter which have not been giving much attention even before the pandemic.
With the continuity of APC/Aketi more dividends will go round.
