A gas explosion occurred at Iju- Ajuwon road, Iju- Ishaga area of Lagos on Thursday.
Confirming the incident, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) said operatives of the agency are enroute the scene.
The number of casualties and the cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained at the time of this report.
It would be recalled that sometime in July, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) confirmed that two people died in the gas explosion that occurred at Asa Afariogun, Isolo Lagos.
The gas explosion emanated from a gas refilling shop.
About nine shop were said to have been affected by the fire incident.
In a statement, the DG/CEO of LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke Osanyintolu, said the agency rushed to the scene of the incident immediately it received a distress call.
