A lot of controversies have greeted the statement on twitter by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, that Nigeria should follow the examople of India and Pakistan who were a country untill 1947.
Kanu said "India & Pakistan were ONE country until 1947 but 2 systems - Hinduism & Islam - were in bloody battles for Federal power, like in Nigeria where MILLIONS have DIED in struggles for Federal power. India found permanent solution in PARTITION. Nigeria must do the same."
Although the masses have in strong terms condemed the statement saying Kanu's dream cannot be achieved on the internet, some said the move is impossible in Nigeria because of corrupt leadership.
