Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde on his official twitter handle has announced that the state has recorded 18 new coronavirus cases.
Makinde who named the areas the suspected cases were seen, urged the masses to call the state emergency lines if they suspect any likely cases of the virus.
His tweet:
1. The COVID-19 confirmation tests for eighteen suspected cases came back POSITIVE.
The cases are from Akinyele (7), Ibadan South West (4), Ibadan North (2), Egbeda (2), Ibadan North East (1), Ido (1) and Ona Ara (1) Local Government Areas. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 2843.
