The Ekiti state government has officially opened its Sexual Assault Referral Centre SARC.
The SARC to be known as Moremi Clinic, is expected to prioritise the rights and needs of survivors of sexual violence.
This was confirmed on Bisi Fayemi's twitter handle.
"Ekiti Sexual Assault Referral Centre(SARC) is officially opened to the public. The Ekiti SARC, to be known as Moremi Clinic, is a free, one stop, survivor-centred initiative that prioritises the rights and needs of survivors of sexual violence."
