Fire kills woman, three kids in Niger

Residents of a suburb of Minna, the Niger state capital are now mourning the recent death of a woman and her three children, including a one-month-old baby, after they were burnt to death in their house.

It was learnt that, the second wife, simply identified as Fati and her children were rescued with severe burn from the fire which started at about 11.30 pm.

The husband of the mothers also identified as Baba Abba, said to be working at Abuja and returns home at the weekend, was not at home when the incident occurred.

In the meantime, neighbours of the victims and the fire service are yet to find the cause of the fire.
