The Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has sacked six more aides of his deputy governor, Agboola Ajayi.
A media aide to the deputy governor, Allen Sowore, was earlier sacked.
The six who were just sacked now are Olomu Bayo, Special Assistant, Special Duties, Olawale Abolade Mukaila, Special Assistant, Photography and Babatope Okeowo, Deputy Chief Press Secretary.
Others are Samuel Ogunmusi, Personal Assistant to the deputy governor, Omotunmise Tokunbo, Special Assistant to the wife of the Deputy Governor and Erifeyiwa Shola Akinnugba, special assistant on Photography to the wife of the Deputy Governor.
In a statement by the governor’s Chief Press secretary, Segun Ajiboye, Akeredolu wishes them in their future endeavours.
There is an allegation that the sacked aides were earlier invited to a meeting with the governor’s Chief of Staff with a view to redeploying them, but none turned up for the meeting.
